Spring Creek Apartments, Colorado Springs Colorado, designed by TDG Architecture

The 22 Spruce Apartment project provides much-needed downtown housing for Colorado Springs. Becoming one of several new downtown living options, it offers a contemporary feel for the city and its residents. Using modern and bold shapes the architecture creates a new visual landmark to the west edge of downtown as one looks to the mountains.

The apartments at Volta on Voyager project started in late 2016 and was completed in the beginning of 2020. The scope of this project was based on three phases with a total of 10 three-story, multifamily, apartment buildings. There are 200 units total, 20 units per building, and is comprised of two distinct building types. Each building is roughly 20,000 square feet with garages on the main level. There are a total of five individual unit types ranging from one bedroom to three bedroom layouts.

Located on 58 acres surrounding the historic Lowell School, the Lowell neighborhood represents a unique and historic opportunity for families and individuals to live in Colorado Springs’ original “Traditional Neighborhood Development” community. TDG Architecture has been a part of many projects within the Lowell Neighborhood, some built, some unbuilt, and some under construction right now. Being involved in the planning of the neighborhood since its inception, we hold Lowell close to our hearts and can watch it evolve from our office windows.
