Volta on Voyager

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO | 2019

The apartments at Volta on Voyager project started in late 2016 and was completed in the beginning of 2020.  The scope of this project was based on three phases with a total of 10 three-story, multifamily, apartment buildings. There are 200 units total, 20 units per building, and is comprised of two distinct building types. Each building is roughly 20,000 square feet with garages on the main level. There are a total of five individual unit types ranging from one bedroom to three bedroom layouts.

Using interior and exterior design strategies, the units feel spacious and filled with light, and the exterior’s bright white paint feel timeless.  TDG aimed for an above-average level of quality which was helped along by our partnerships with a fantastic client, an experienced client representative / project manager, and a craftly-skilled local contractor Colorado Structures, Inc. (CSI) who joined the team at a very early point in time, which ultimately was invaluable to the project’s success.

The development was a much-needed outlet for Colorado Springs to add more rental units in the northeast part of town.  All units have access to tuck-under parking, a great amenity to offer tenants, as well as a clubhouse with amenities such as two gyms used for varying exercise options, an outdoor pool and sauna with a large functional pool deck.  The clubhouse also includes a large mail and package delivery room, equipped with an Amazon Hub system.  A double-sided fireplace offers plenty of seating area in the lobby and around a corner in the commons/lounge space, which has flexible spaces to fit the needs of everyone.
