This transformation focused on connecting all living spaces within the floor plan, creating a continuous flow from the public spaces to the private ones. The kitchen workspace is easily accessed from circulation paths and adjacent rooms. It remained where it existed, but opened itself to the wall of windows facing northwest. Facing the dining and living spaces, the kitchen island becomes the central core to main level living.
Detailing throughout the space is simplistic to emphasize the Owners unique and wonderful art pieces. The wood tones and layers of light soften the clean lines of the entire space.
During the design process, the Architect, Mark Tremmel and the involved Clients worked closely to leverage the gorgeous views and outdoor spaces to form beautiful places for their everyday activities. The final design was a result of great collaboration between the Clients, Tremmel Design Group, and the contractor.
