The Broadmoor Residence

Colorado Springs, CO | 2010

This story starts with a very typical perception that the home you currently live in can’t be transformed into your dream home.  This home may have been outdated, but it had good bones to work with.  The floor plan only needed a few big moves to make it livable for the Clients.  Mainly, the ability to open the main living spaces up.  The kitchen opens out through a large folding door and makes the space feel twice as big.  It overlooks a beautiful view of Broadmoor Valley.  The simple shift of a fireplace makes the living room function again, and draws your attention to the original roof line of the home.  And a small addition to the master bathroom created a luxurious new space.
